End of the Year Gifts/Prep

I was so sad to see the end of the year come. I feel like I needed more time with them! I did my normal bag of stuff: memory book, year of crafts, award, and a key chain!

These are the bags I use. You can get them on Amazon, but make sure you get the size that is at least 9x12. I've made the mistake of getting the smaller ones before lol.

This is the memory book I use. I've changed it over the years, but I just simplified it down. You can edit it in Canva, google slides, or PP!

You could also use this, but it's more for one student. I used it as a moving away book, but if you started this early, you could make a book for each student.

I did the key chains again.  I do not suggest doing a whole class picture because it's so small. The selfie works so much better! Click here for the tag and click here for the key chain photo frames.

Every year I hold onto the crafts. I usually just stack them and then we spend some time at the end of the year passing them out. This year my job share partner filed them by name, which was a lot easier. I do like going through them with the kids though because we reminisce and I am a very nostalgic person LOL, but the filing makes it wayyyy easier to pack it up!

If you're looking for crafts to do all year, here is my craft pack. I put all my Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st crafts in the packet. 2nd grade could probably use a lot of them too!

Then I stick their little class superlative in there too, but I don't have any links because it is always last minute. If you have questions feel free to reach out or find me on Instagram!

SUBTRACTION WINTER CRAFT

If you've been around for awhile you know that I LOVE craftivities. I think they are so much more fun than just the regular day to day lessons and even more than random stations. I typically tend to hate station games and cut out cards because they get lost and what not. #iykyk Over winter break I was trying to prep to come back and I knew I wanted to start doing a math craft every Friday. I am a creature of habit and routine, so I want to start doing Monday-Thursday stations and Friday craftivities. I saw a few subtraction craftivities on pinterest, but they weren't really sparking my interest. I wanted something different than something being eaten and it needed to be winter themed. So penguins on and off an iceberg just popped into my head.   I decided to first let my kids color the penguins. I also made them number the back because I knew they would be all over the ground and no one would know which are theirs. So we did that, but it took longer than expected so I collected...
